SGUsed allows you to permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from the app. No email or support request is required.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the SGUsed app on your device.
- Navigate to the Settings screen (tap your profile tab, then the settings icon).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you delete your account, all of your data will be removed and cannot be recovered.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, username, profile photo, bio)
- All listings you have created
- Your message history
- Transaction and offer records
- Ratings and reviews
- Saved payment methods
- Notification preferences and push tokens
What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:
- Stripe records: Payment and payout records processed through Stripe are retained by Stripe in accordance with their data retention policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Legal obligations: Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements may be retained as required by law.
